IHL Round 4
3rd May @ Ardclough
Ardclough 0-10 Kill 2-08

Kill got a rare victory over Ardclough in Round 4 of the Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Championship, putting a dent in Ardclough’s semi-final hopes.

Originally fixed for Kill, but was changed due to flooding on the Kill pitch was Ardclough’s third of the league campaign, with the Rd.3 clash with Celbridge being deferred.

After a seven point loss last time out to Naas, Ardclough were hoping to get another two points in the league table but a hungry Kill side stuck for key goals to win out.

Pauric Kelly was in great form in the Kill goal and kept a clean sheet throughout. Ardclough didn’t find the net but it wasn’t for the lack of trying, Kelly coming to Kill’s rescue on a number of occasions, especially in the first half.
