A strong Killard team have deservedly made the Final of the Division 2 Kildare Hurling Féile, after five wins from five in the group stages.

The Killard panel that defeated Naas

The Killard panel of thirty players, which is made up of 50/50 split between Ardclough and Kill hurlers, started their campaign with high scoring wins over Clane, Kilcock and Ros Glas.

They continued with more wins this week, with away wins over Broadford last Sunday (14th) on a scoreline of 4-07 to 0-04 and again on Wednesday (17th) against Naas, by 5-03 to 0-03.

The Final takes place Sunday week, the 28th April, in Kildare’s Hawkfield Centre of Excellence in Newbridge, with throw-in time yet to be confirmed.

All support is welcome for Ardclough’s first Final appearance of the year.
