*Update on Club Development Plan*
In early Spring our Club will embark on an ambitious development plan to increase the playing facilities we have for all our juvenile and senior teams at our club.
Our club is the heart of our community and we really need the full support of all our members to make this happen. We are delighted here to give you an update on the exciting development plan that our club is about to embark upon.
The development plan sets out to deliver:
-Floodlights for the main pitch
-An All-Weather Training pitch for juvenile and senior teams
-Acquisition of more land for an additional pitch
It is an ambitious plan for our small community but one that received overwhelming support at our recent Club AGM. The estimated total cost is approximately €750,000 and the plan is to achieve this through a mix of:
-Member donations
-Fundraising-Grants, (relevant sports capital & other)
-Debt finance
-Club funds
The aim is to raise the member funds by Autumn 2022 and a small team are in the process of preparing the necessary marketing, communications and other relevant materials to kick start the fundraising campaign.
An official launch of the club development and fundraising plan will take place in early March. We will circulate details of the launch event in due course but we do hope that all our members will come along on the day and join in.
In order to achieve our goal, we are putting a team of volunteers in place to help coordinate fundraising activities. We need people with a range of skills to assist on tasks including; administration, communications and fundraising.
