Ardclough defeated Naas in the Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Championship on Thursday (22nd August) on a scoreline of 5-10 to 2-11.
After an early mixed start, and concession of a quick goal, Ardclough’s hard work ethic all around the field kept Naas to limited attacking opportunities from play and they conceeded the second goal very late in the game.
While Padraic O’Malley led the attack from full-forward and Matt Stapleton and Cormac McCarthy also put in fine displays upfront.
Ardclough are now second in the table in their quest for a semi-final spot and will face Celbridge at home in their final group game.
