Ardclough’s late fight back was enough to secure a well deserved draw against Sarsfields in their Intermediate hurling Semi-Final, played in Sallins on Sunday 23rd.

Ardclough worked hard in the first half and limited Sarsfields scoring threat, to take a 0-06 to 0-03 lead into the break.

Sarsfields struck for two goals in quick succession during the second half and looked to have enough to get through.

But Ardclough showed great heart, chipping away at the Sash lead point by point until Declan Higgins finally got the equaliser late on.

The replay will again be at the early-time of 11am on Sunday morning (29th) in Naas with Alan Lagrue as referee.
