In the Lounge
Of course if you don’t win the lotto tonight, there’s nowhere better to be! The lounge opens at 5pm today with Firestone Pizza available. The Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup Final is on this evening as UL play Mary I in Croke Park – live on TG4 at 7.35pm. Can UL do the double after their first victory in the Sigerson during the week, Jamie Walls’ Mary I might have other plans – a great match ahead.
Over the weekend it’s all football as All Ireland Champions Kerry face Galway at 5pm and Dublin play Monaghan at 7pm. And Sunday its Donegal v Mayo at 1.45pm, Tyrone v Cavan at 3.45pm, and finished just in time for our Seisiún – and we can wrap it all up with the League Sunday at 9.35pm. No Kildare game on TV this weekend as our footballers play Derry at 6.30pm in Cedral St Conleth’s.
On Saturday we also have 6 Nations action with Ireland home to Italy , kick off at 2.10pm followed by Scotland v England at 4.50pm. On Sunday Wales face France at 3.10pm.

Straffard U13 & U12 – Rathcoffey 5k
Our fantastic girls and coaches in Straffard U13 & U12 groups ran the Rathcoffey 5k on Saturday morning !
We are incredibly proud of these girls, some running their first race ! And well done to all participants , great to see so many familiar faces there and the weather held on !
1968 Legends League – Wk 2
Our U9 & U8 hurlers played round 2 of their Legends League – skills are off the charts and getting better each week
Round 3 this Sunday, with a break then until March 1st for our final week.
Noel Burke Cup 2026 – Round 2
Another outstanding afternoon of hurling , and a miracle to see sunshine again.
Kildare v Kilkenny was the first game of the day with Kilkenny coming away with the win. And the second game of the day saw a replica of the previous nights league game with Cork playing Tipp – the all Ireland champions losing out on both occasions!
This week –
Game 1 – Kilkenny v Tipperary at 1pm
Game 2 – Kildare v Cork at 2pm
