We hope all our members had a great Christmas break and enjoyed the rest. And just like that all those problems we put off until 2026 hit the desks this week … but we made it through week 1!
We have lots to look forward to both this weekend and the year ahead. Our senior county men’s teams are in action this weekend, the GAA Higher University Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cups started with some great matches this week, and it won’t be long before our own senior and juvenile teams are back in action on the pitch. Lots of groups got an early start this week, we’re hearing great plans of Rathcoffey 5k runs, athletic & gym sessions – We are very excited for 2026 and all the new adventures ahead.

Our draw tonight on January 9th is for €4,200 – we had no winner of our jackpot with Caroline McCabe and Tom Johnson taking home the €50 lucky dips !
We’d encourage all our members to play lotto, it’s a vital source of funds for the club and you could be a lucky winner – if you’re not in you can’t win ! Let’s face it we could all do with a nice holiday around now !

The Luke Spain Memorial Cup took place on St Stephens Day in the club, beautiful morning to run off the Christmas excess.

Great news from the U14 LGFA county panel with Ellen Meally, Emma Kelly, Isla Corcoran and Iris McCartan making the panel. Well done !
Kildare
Our Senior Footballers play Dublin in the 2026 Dioralyte O’Byrne Cup on Saturday at 5pm in St Conleths.
And on Sunday at 2.30pm our Senior Hurlers play Antrim in the Shield semi-final of the 2026 Dioralyte Walsh Cup following a coin toss after the cancelled game on Sunday in Manguard Park, Hawkfield.
